Big Utes far outstrip what sport clods can do.

 

its all a preffereance thing not everybody can afford this and that and not everybody is on the same terrain.. hell some people just feel safer on 1 or the other, yes the bigger ute's arnt as safe you say? well I dont see many big utes out there doing much very dangerious stuff cause of the owner being cautions and not going over his or her limit or the quads for that matter. so I see alot of sport bikes pushing the envolope and getting hurt more often.. so you cant automaticly say oo id rahter this and that on me blah blah use comman sence and most $hit wont happen.

Im only 17 and getting me a sport quad myself but I dont dislike any other quad were all on the same team why try and start crap?

a 660 or 700 ute will not do 70-75 even the manu's know that would be a redicuiolus speed to hit on something that is not meant to go that fast,turning wise,weight wise. dont get me wrong...utes are awesome..i have sooo much fun wheeling with my friend on his ute than i do on my rappy..if u are like me some of u ute and sport riders then u understand that wheeling through some rough terrain is just as fun as going 85 on a lake bed. just the feeling of being able to go anywhere and get through chit. its just awesome. and so are sport quads. they give u a sense of freedom. thats all

Wow, this topic is about as dumb as the "4-strokes suck" topic. The question I ask is how come all the sand/sport guys rip on us guys who have utes? The same can be said about the 4-stroke topic, 2-stroke = sport, 4-stroke = ute. What gives? I have yet to see any ute guys rip on the sport guys.

 

I think most ute riders love all kinds of quads, as for me, I love riding my Eiger and Ozark, when I feel suicidal or have some liquid courage I get on the YZ250(death trap) dirt bike>>>Bad wreck, 37 year old trying to be Mike Metzger of X games.,,I will stick to my big bulky quad. I say ride what you like 2 strokje , 4 stroke, Ute or Sport, have fun , be safe and vote for Bush

 

i own both...a z400 and a twin peaks 700....so i can go fast when i want and go thru mud when i want...blah blah blah..but lemme tell you 1 thing my tp700 has a couple of mods on it and at the drags and even on the trails or in a wide open field ill beat up on a big number of the so called "sport" quads that are out there...it'll wheelie as good as my z....go just as fast if not faster on the trails...and i dont have to worry about a mud hole...or big a$$ rocks if they pop up....i find myself on the utility more than the sport because its faster, more capable, funner, and a helluva lot more comfortable to be on for extended periods of time....anyways how do you know you are going 85 on a sporty...you dont even have a speedo...lol....so basically what i am getting at is dont bag on something if you dont really know what you are talking about cause you will only look like a terd in doing so...take even a stock p700/bf750 out for a little ride and maybe youll see that you arent totally right....and if that doesnt change youre mind wait till i have my 70+ horse 800cc kit in mine...then we'll see whose down on power...

 

you know i was reading even more of this crap in here and this talk of 85 this....whatever...aside from a few greats there arent even any stock sports pushing 80mph but with radar and my speedo i KNOW my peaks is 70+mph....and im happy......just ask the kid down the street with his stock raptor...he must like looking at the peaks tail-light when we're going down the road....lol.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
