Utility quads are so not cool!!

Why spend 5K on a sport quad to go 85mph if i can spend 7K and buy a used sport bike, and go 200mph? I have my polaris for the trails and my race car to go fast Nothing like doing a wheelie in a car

ill second that one , how do sport quads go in a foot of snow, frankly they dont, i know top speed on my ac650 is 73 mph with 28 in tires but thats not the reason i bought one ,ive had banshees,400 ex,quadzilla 500, but im tired of making noise and not being able to go up steep hills or through mud holes etc etc as far as the speed issue goes i drag race on sundays in modified class so i get my speed thrills from that wheels up 1.31 60 ft 980s at 137+ mph what it all comes down to is what you like for a quad and what kind of riding you do

Each have their place. You can't take a sport quad where I like to ride; also, you can't take a bunch more gas...I can go 150 miles + w/o having to return for gas. Having had a 400EX, Grizz and a P-700, I can tell you the 400 is not much faster than the Grizz, and probably slower than the Prairie.

9.80s all motor?????? holy freaking crap!! I knew your car had to be light running with that much MPH...that's pretty low.
that's killer dude! I love racing....today, i just maxed out two credit cars on suspension parts for my mustang....lol...its an addiction. I should have the parts to hit low 50s/high 40 short times, i just need the power. Once i get the direct port system with the 200pill and some wider rims for my slicks...it should hook alright for a "stock" mustang

Well well, another thread started by a maginally educated sand slug... I mean come on.... Just the facts man.... thre are approximately 3 Utes sold for every sport quad... Hmmm, somebody stop me.. I mean come on..... really though, Utes have so many uses, they are not just limited to one way of riding. Many are used in farming/ranching... and can still be used to hunt, pull a stump out of your back yard, haul firewood, set up camp in the woods, take a hunter who is too old to get out and hunt any more for that one last kill...but mostly, I like mine for just putting around in the woods. Do that with a sport machine and you will foul plugs, or overheat etc... Criticism of either class of machines is an exercise in futility. With all the various outside interests trying to kill the sport... we need to work together, not throw stones at each other.
