Default To Much Power????

Its at the top of the ATV pages, you can click on the 04 tab or the 05 tab and I think the 05 is the default, mening the one you are seeing first is the 05 but you can swich back and check photo's and specs on 04's since they are still on dealer showrooms. Right now likley still more 04's than 05's is why I think they do it that way. But that new Black and silver trimmed Rincon looked awsome and I am not even that much of a honda man at all. If they would EFI it or something I might have to, have me one of them.

IMO the best of the best will be the new KQ if you want IRS and the TP will always rule the single axle sport utes.

I love my Vinson but am looking for something with a little more power. I rode my first wheelie yesterday...on a big 600+ machine it's a little scarrrrrrrrry!

I guess I have gotton lazzey over the years I just dont't play in that rel, rel deep mud anymore. I still enjoy playing in mud its the cleanup afterwords is what I hate.

There are lift kits available for the twin Peaks / prarries, that alow you to lift it high enough to clear 28" supper swampers or something like that. You will end up needing to change you clutch setup and think the front axles get swappewd in some of those lift kits. Just remember your performance will suffer, You will lose alot of power and handeling but you gain more in mud performance.

No i dont go mudding to that extent....just the normal culverts and run-ins that i encounter on the trail from time to time!

I wanna make it through those with ease....the foreman450es with the bearclaws walks right through it in 2wd with it flinging all over the place! I will never lift kit it, due to the stability/handleing factor i want it to remain nice and have it handle really well!

prolly just do 26" claws or something of that sort if i go ahead and decide i want one LOL!

How are the headlights....pretty good for those night rides?

http://powersports.honda.com/atvs/ut...lId=TRX650FGA5

the above is the address were the 2005 honda rincon is in its new black for 2005 color toward the top of the page you will see 05 on the left and 04 on the right if you want to see 04 models you have to click on the 04. every mdl you pull up on there sight is an 05 you have to make it go back to the 04's. Its been this way for several weeks.

As far as I can tell the only changes honda's making are just cosmetic color addditions and deletions. Nothing new for the start of 05',that I can see.

I don't really know any other way to prove this. Unless we are seeing 2 different home sites from Honda, there still remain some '04 only models in the utility lineup and the '05 400EX is still missing in the sport lineup. I checked your link and indeed, the '05 Rincon is available. However, the Rubicon, Foreman ES, Foreman S, Recon and Recon ES all '04 models right now. According to KNOWSALOT, who has been a pretty reliable inside source on what moves the manufacturers are making, there are to be multiple all-new models from Honda as well as some all-new bikes for '05. I'm not saying that this part will happen for sure, but coming from this particular forum member, I would not doubt it to be true.

XXxxSiCk660xxXX, you will love the Twinpeaks. The Dyna is the biggest improvement I have seen. I just love to be able to powerslide at 60 MPH!

I am happy to stand corrected I only was looking at 3 or 4 mdls that I was interested in and all of them were updated to the 05's except the rubi and I think I looked at it last and didn't notice it was not updated to the 05. I even read through all the specs on it to see if they added switchable 4wd, I had not even noticed it was not updated like the others, I only looked at the new 450 on sport bike side to see if they had added electric start or reverse

sorry for the confusion

I can now look fwd to some new improved models from Honda.
