I agree with you.

This is guy is fighting for our country, and wants to know about atvs, let's keep it at that. He's more of a patriot than any of us, unless we're over seas right now too.

I have a 2003 outlander 400 and love it. It was a choice between the sportsman 500 and the outlander 400 and I chopse the outlander for many reasons.

The best thing you can do now is look at the different web sites to get the specs, and when you get back, drive the ones you like the most and then make your decision. Bombardier gave me a free 3 year warranty when I bought mine and I only had to use it to have the rear swing arm updated.

Drive the atv's and you'll know whats for you.

Ole

I dont think i'd ever buy anything but polaris. IRS, IFS, Full 4x4, no diff lock needed. Great ride, most towing capacity, most ground clearance, Looks pretty sweet, Takes a beating. I love my 600 sportsman.

Doesn't Arctic Cat actually have the most ground clearance and towing capacity? If they could go on a diet and loose the major body roll then I would give them another try.

Artic Cat might have a tad more ground clearance on their one model, but no one has more towing capacity than Polaris. The 600 and 700 are rated at 1,500 lbs. I've towed a 2,200 lb trailer very easily with my SP600 quite a few times. Polaris Twins are tow kings.

Yep highest towing of ANY ATV made, thats a fact look it up. Polaris has more firsts than you can even start to think up. They pretty much made the 4x4 ATV what it is today. IRS, True AWD, full floorboards, EFI, etc. The new 700EFI was the second fastest 4x4 says Dirt Wheels, the 700 Twin is a very smooth engine that has loads of power. The ride of a Polaris is the best out IMO and with the best seat in the biz. In the world of 4x4s Polaris is king in my book!

Talk about S.O.S.
You're from Washington, so I wouldn't expect you to know this. Ask a true southerner why they fly the confederate flag. For them, it has nothing to do with the civil war, slavery or anything that you probably think they associate it with.

Here's what I think. 1st choice: Honda Rincon, Honda Rancher 400AT
2nd choice: Yamaha Grizzly, Kodiak 450
3rd choice: Suzuki King Quad, Eiger 400

I havent got one yet, Im still here in Iraq till at least Mar. 05 or so.
But I do like what I have heard so far about the Kawasaki's.
I am planning on going to the Kawa, Honda, and whatever other dealers I decide on and ride them prior to buying too.
I just want to be able to go in drop 10-12 grand on a pair and walk out with not only a great deal but hopefully a good service department that will take care of my rides.

Redgoblin I guess I should have clarified on the rebel flag, I meant those who don't even come close to living or have lived in the south. Just like how the Oakland Raiders and Chicago Bulls merchandising has been used to symbolize the gang lifestyle. I use to think it was cool when I was a wanna-be redneck then I grew up.
