do u know anyone whos got a FMF utility?...the pipes would be alot different than a 2-stroke sport pipe

anyone else got anything to add?...i need all the input and advice i can get [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Are you sure? I thought it was losing only 1/2 of 1hp. Not half the total hp gain.
That's what the tech told me (Dan if I remember correctly). I was looking at this pipe myself, but for $300 I want something better than that. I may just go with the Utility and the quiet core for less money.

Yeah I think I will go that way also. I'am thinking about the K and N power kit to go with the HMF utility pipe. What was the cost on the Utility with quiet core?

From what I've seen, careful shopping can get the pipe and quiet core to your doorstep for about $250.

The HMF Utility puts out more HP, but it is VERY loud. If you want HP gains and still be fairly quiet, the QS-1 seems to be the way to go.

hmf is the best period, i might buy a yoshi for the heck of it and see if the power gains are different, come spring i am going to get my vinny dynoed.

Hey, I got a '03 Honda Recon with the FMF Powerline Muffler. It has good sound once broke in a little, but it is not loud... If i myself were to buy another pipe i would most definetly get something louder, but it depends what you really want. As for a power gain I'm not really sure how much, as i have other mods done to my 4wheeler.
