Default ids2 vs. hmf utility vs. FMF

You can just call the manufacturer and tell him you pipe and machine and they should be able to tell you the decibel count with a certain amount of discs. My friend and I did that with his FMF because we were going riding on some state land that was known for tough officers. So he called FMF and asked the question. He was able to run the right amount of discs, with quiet core to not be over the 96 decibel limit. Maybe HMF won't do it ? HTH.

its like 4 times louder than stock...the quiet core n spark arrestor will take away from power....im thinkin about the ids2...its got discs so u can tune it.. the hmf is just way to loud...itll **** people off
I think I could deal with the minimal power loss from the arrestor/quiet core for the 1 week a year I ride on N.F. land.

i live on a dirt road...and i constantly drive down it to get to my local sandpits...people on the road have been known for calling the cops when loud quads and dirtbikes go up and down it...so id have to use the quiet core all the time...and even then it would probley still **** people off...plus id have to spend more money i dont have...lol
