Default Sportsman 800 vs Brute Force 750 vs King Quad 700

Been doing a little research lately, looking at some new big bores. Trading off my Grizz 660 and Prair 650 for a couple more. I was dead set on the Brute and the King, however the reviews are all saying the Sportsman is incredible. I swore I would never buy another Polaris, but I am seriously considering an 800 instead of the 750. How do the general riding public out there feel these machines compare against each other. I seriously value any knowledge, and even a few opinions.

I saw a review in an Atv Mag last week at the grocery store and it was a pretty good review of the Sportsman. They did say the broke the belt on the thing though whilr testing the quad.

I think the 800 is going to be be the way to go having efi and all but, I also feel I would wait and ride one before getting dead set on either quad. I'm seriously considering selling or trading my 700 in for the 800 but that price tag is pretty heavy. I know it comes with the cool wheels and all but $8599 whooooo.

I'm partial to the King myself!

The Sportsman 700 MV does look like a heck of a machine, kinda like a mini-Humvee!

It weighs in at almost 1000 Lbs. so it is heavy!

I like the lighter weight and manuverability of the King though.

To me the KQ is currently the best overall quad out there right now. The big Sportsman sounds good but how can anyone get over the weight and that awkard gear shifter; and don't get me started about the price.

Sounds to me like you have a couple of nice quads so why not wait until 2006 to see what comes out. I'm sure the KQ and BF will have a few changes to them that give them an even better edge.

Wow, this is a tough one. I think if it were me though I'd go with the sportsman 800 and the brute force. I think those will be the 2 most powerful ones. They are also both twins, and twins at that large of a displacement is the way to go IMO. The sportsman will ride great and has great accessories. The brute is a power load, great for just going out and playing around.

i think i'll take the brute, most power, best looking. polaris is nice not to keen on the looks and that exhuast might be a dual but if it sounds like the 700(80's mazda pickup) they can keep it oh yeah 8 or 9000$ no thanks. all around best quad is the king quad but again the looks, front bumper and outer space headlight, i dont know. i'am biased here because i have a brute but you cant go wrong with any of these atv's they are all great. its all personal preference and tastes. for me it was the looks, soft ride, and the v-twin rumble.

Your right grizzkiller. The best engine on the market is the v-twin. Plus the brute has been out for a few months and has most of ther serous bugs worked out. It will take polaris a year to get ther bugs worked out. If you want to wait that long then its ok. But if not then id go with the brute. They are a good all around atv. Getting the best of bolth worlds. Fast as He!!, and will go through about anything that I drive at. Plus your saving bout 1,500$$$ on the brute. And about 150lbs. Its all prefrence though but take my word for it. You woudnt be dissapointed with the brute.

I didn't like the feel of the Kawi and the weight of the Polaris killed it for me. If they came out with a big bore Outlander it would be the ticked but since they don't I went with the Grizz...
