Default Poly Skids for a Ute

I'm looking for opinions on aftermarket polycarbonate and/or lexan skids for utility ATVs. I've found two brands Hebco and Amordillo, but have seen very few comments. I know some of the arguments surrounding the issue of skids. Everyone get's aluminum. Heavy duty stuff. But, poly has benefits of sliding better on rocks, snow, obstacles and it is lighter weight. If you have any brand of poly skid (other than stock), please post your experience.

For reference here are two links that I found. Let me know what you think.
