If I buy one of the Harbor freight wenches or these $20 deals does someone know what mounting plate will work on a Polaris sp700?
If not Has anyone fabbed one up and have them for sale?

The ones at harbor freight are also the same as Champion, superwinch. So, look for a plate that will match those. You can also just drill two new holes in the bracket to mount the winch to it. I did fabricate a mount for my Champion winch. Pictures are in my bio Can't say one's for sale, due to this being in the open forum

Hey Rescue, how're you doing?

That's a nice fabrication job on that winch mount. Wish you lived next door to me. I could put skills like that to work.

Man, that town has grown Was last there in 1988. Stopped by the mega dealer there on the main strip Nice place and guys almost walked out with a new Z400 Miss you over at the FKB site, drop on by, and say hi to the guys

Just in case if anyone is still interested, you are still able to get the $49.99 deal at harbor freight. The 2000# winch that they have on their website now is listed as $69.00 (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=90282).
You have to call Customer Service and give them the part # 90282-1rbh. The last 4 digits is the sale number that allows you to get it for 49.99. Without this they won't give you the sale.
They are on back order till 4/9 though.

Actually I just looked at my order confirmation and they have the part # as 90282-1zza.

Either one should work.

Later.

No Problem...

I've been looking around and here are some of the things I found.
Mounting Bracket
I found on big buck atv products website
KFI is the brand that it lists the Chicago mount. $50 no roller fairlead
http://www.rockymountainatv.com/Prod...v?pid=00091321
$60 with roller but I'm not sure if it is an exact mount for the chicago winch but I assume it will fit.

Rocker Switch and Solenoid (If you want it) $60-$65
http://www.rockymountainatv.com/Prod...v?pid=00103718
or
http://www.montanajacks.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=553
http://www.montanajacks.com/index.as...OD&ProdID=1063

I haven't ordered anything else other than the winch since I have awhile to shop around.
It sounds like some guys are putting in-lne fuses on them.

Hope this helps.

fuses are absolutely no good for this winch, i had them for it i blew 5 the first time i tried to winch the bike out, mind you i only had a 30 amp fuse, but eh no what u need is a 50 amp resetable circuit breaker, works flawless now
