60$ dollar winches
I just picked 2 up the other day, these things arent all that bad.... I built a bike/atv/tractor/sled/dune buggy lift that could also lift a Sherman tank if need arises, and added a Champion/Costco special on it to lift it up. Workx great. Needed 2 ****** blocks, but lifts very smooth and effective. Then I biult a bracket to mount into my rear hitch, and now have a portable rear winch system, for pulling out other atv's Ill add some pics in my gallery once I get it figured out..... But for $60, if it work twice and get you outta a pinch, hey why not....

60$ dollar winches
I just bought my chicago electric 2000# winch. Its goin on a 04 big bear. I'll keep you guys posted on how it works out. I paid 60 bux and with that came a 15 month one time replacement warranty. The cashier said that if it ever breaks, bring it back and they will replace it with a brand new one in the box, no questions asked. The winch was 50 plus tax and the extended warranty was somethin like 4.99.

I bought some quick disconects from my Yamaha dealer. they were from superwinch.cost for 1 half was $11. so for 25$ or so I just connect right to battery with one half and the winch the other. disconnecting the controller when not in use.
Princess Auto has a bunch of winches on sale right now. small to 8000lbs. American money goes quite a bit farther up here.
