Default 200 Quadmaster 500

hey guys, i'm looking at a 2000 QUadmaster 500 for right around $3000. It has a plow, 1500 lb. winch and ony 1030 miles. Can anyone give me a few thoughts (pros and cons) about this machine. I currently own a 2003 Big Bear and would like to try and compare the two. Oh, and can anyone tell me how fast the Quadmaster goes? The Big Bear only hits just above 40 mph. Thanks.

While the BIG BEAR isn't exactly a sport ute it is a lot sportier than a quadmaster 500. The 500 is more of a pure utility and if thats what your looking for than it sounds like a great deal. The bb 400 can work but not as much as a qm 500.

my 2000 quadmaster tops out at about 52mph. Its huge front fenders can actually keep feet dry when crossing h2O, etc. It could stand for a little more ground clearance as i've found myself teetering in places other quads manuvered right over. I just finished a 150 mile weekend trip where the QM saw a variety of terrain (mud, water, wide open trails, etc.) Did get the belt wet once and had to take a break for a while but that wasn't the QM's fault, driver error. I believe it to be a very reliable quad.
