I need advice
#1
I am currently looking to by a new utility atv. I am interested in the 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force 650. However, all my friends have been bad mouthing them. They say that the first time I get into some water, the belt driven transmission will take on water and begin to slip leaving me stranded. Is this true or are they just jealous honda riders? Thanks for your advice.

Your friends just might change their minds about the 650 Brute Force, when you blow past them out on the trail or when you chug right past them in that big mudhole with your front locker engaged and they are spinning their wheels.
YES, they are jealous. They know they will never keep up with you.
You will go anywhere they will go. I garuantee you will be the one pulling them out of the mud holes. The locker makes a big difference over the limited slip they got.
Get the Brute and show them what mud ripping and trail blasting is all about.

They said the same thing about the grizzly but i have had mine in deep water for hours and have never had the belt slip.
The BF is an awsome quad, you definately will not be disapointed (until a Grizzly passes you). Sorry, I had to say it.

I am yet to have belt slip, water, mub, it doen't matter. Keep the crap out of the air box and your fine. Great for trails, wheeling and work what more do you want. Let me guess a deal from your dealer. i bought mine $5800 nothing can touch that. Jealousy may be the issue try it and you'll be a beleiver. I am!
