Default ATV Insurance

Just a heads up. I did a search here first, checked with my homeowners/auto insurer and then a couple of the carriers suggested here. Ended up with Progressive at one quarter what my homeowners company was going to charge me and about a third less then any of the other motorcycle carriers. With my title and drivers licenses in hand, it took less then five minutes to get it done. Don't know what they are like for claims but can't beat for ease of use and price.

My regular homeowners company, Liberty Mutual, wanted to add a whole new policy at around $250. Wouldn't simply schedule it on my homeowners. Another cycle insurer quoted me $98 and bought it through Progressive for $65. But I'm an old fart with no tickets or accidents so probably effected the rate too.

I have my atv insurance through State Farm and for full coverage for my 04' Yamaha Big Bear with a $250 deductible was $240 a year and because I already had car insurance and renter's insurance through them they gave me a multi-policy discount and essentially I have the renter's for free now.

I bet that $65 isn't FULL Coverage is it? I got full coverage through Erie Insurance...My Car insurance company for under $200 a year for $7000 in coverage. And thats a 100 250 deductable so pretty good I think. Progressive wanted alot more for same coverage so they certainly wern't the best price. Oh for just liabilty..like fire theft it was less than $40 a year through Erie.
