I was wondering what kind of performance mods can you do to a Rancher and where can you get them? I was thinking about buying a used one near my home and I want to know what you can do to them.

I think the only performance mod u can do to a rancher as far as the engine goes is a K&N air filter. There are tons of bumpers, skid plates etc for the rancher.

See my philosopy about utilities here: http://forums.atvconnection.com/mess...did/470268.cfm

The Warn 424 (selectable 2wd/4wd) is an absolute must!

Tires make a big difference! I run ITP Holeshot ATR's on light ITP aluminum rims. It's a whole different bike from stock! Handles much better and lighter is always faster. Makes the machine several inches wider for more stability too.

If I had a bunch of extra money, I would get Works Performance aftermarket shocks.

As far as the engine goes, all I have done is a UNI air filter and FMF MegaMax II muffler. You can do cams and bore it out, if you want to really get serious.

My next big project is to strip off those heavy racks, and lighten the machine by 50 pounds!

Highlifters has a 375 big bore kit with cam for the 350 Rancher. I have been thinking of trying it on my Rancher, just can't decide if its worth the effort.
