Default Skid Plates

I'm planning to buy a new Foreman 500 in the near future, and wanted to know if most of you buy aftermarket skid plates for yours or not? I used to put them on all of my sport machines right away, but is it needed on a ute? Thanks!

I would get a full skidplates. they will help you slid in deep mud and you will be glad the first time you go over a big log. I got mine at highlifter. also look at getting a stronger bash plate up front.

I got mine from ebay, I thought that I did not need them till I put a hole in the bottom of my oil pan on a big rock.

Ricochet makes a heavy duty set. I put them on my 05' Kodiak. I highly recommend!

Hey Gutbuster,

Are the ricochet A-arm guards 3-sided, or only plated on the front and bottom?
