MAYBE in the snow, but i still dont see no way in hell, im going to have to travel to the rocky's or wherever and see someone's rancher do more than me. Im not bashing, just being pure realistic, my Sportsman could go through places i couldnt dream of with my rancher (where i ride) with stock tires.. I just do not see how this is possible..

Its more than possible in the snow....get a set of rincon tires and wheels for your 01 Rancher (If its a 4x4) and take a trip to the snow with both your quads.......you'll find out just what I'm talking about then......and the Polaris was an 800 on the last trip. I agree with you.....in the mud its not the quad a Polaris is. Rider has alot to do with it as well as tires.
But I was as surprised as anyone when I figured out that with the right setup on the Rancher it was king in the snow.

The only thing I've seen a Rancher pull out, was a tooth, I think it was watermelon. Just kidding, I just had to say that. I've seen some $200 POS quads do some pretty crazy rides that I would never even think about doing. Any thing is possible. I could see a Rancher kick butt in the snow, I'm just not so sure about pulling a half ton Polaris.

I pulled a JEEP out of a tank with my 05 Rancher 350 4X4. Two people on the front rack and one on the back. I was amazed. I sure miss that bike, should have kept it.

Well, if it can pull a jeep out of a tank, then it should be able to pull a fat SP800.
