Oh look everyone I made the honda boy upset. It's people like you that erk me. Shall I get a pedistal for you. You know everything about everything, all that I have to do is ask right? Sorry to criticise your rubys "industrie leading" transmission. You don't have to get your panties all in a bunch over someone elses opinion. I don't care when someone insults my wheeler. Its no dirt off my back. I bought what I thought would be best for me. And so did you. As for the point and fire quote, we have a kid up here that crashes everything he has ever owned. Infact his nickname is crash. We found him one night in his crashed subie. When asked what happend, he said,"I couldn't see where I was going so I jus point and fired." So you can take your uconn pretty boy head and shove it back into your a$$ from whence it came.

oh, now why do the knuckleheads have to start picking on Honda, particularly those that live in glass houses. As far as second-rate performing simplistic CVTs go, its common knowledge Kawasaki has the worst performing belt drive of the bunch. Settling for that I can understand that you wouldn't get it. Oh the horror stories he tells about Hondas (of someone he knew blah blah blah). I can replace my tranny and still make as much off of resale as your Kawi (depreciation really takes a toll on a brand like Kawasaki). And what's with the cultist label, if someone happens to own a Honda they are a cultist? I thought it was an American brand that was a cult? There are some hard-headed Honda owners in this forum, but for the most part I think I see more from another brand. The streak seems to run with 'big bore' owners as well, buy a big quad and think they are an authority. Most of the Honda owners I see are the experienced riders with an open mind.
I don't think Kodiak660s example has anything to do with brand. Any dummy should know it has a whole lot more to do with weight, tires, and technique. Heavy quads suck in the snow, regardless of brand or type of 4wd, but Polaris is not TRUE 4wd unless you are in the Polaris marketing department or a sucker. All that weight and not being locked in 4x4 and you are going to get stuck sooner than others. I know - I have to be careful not having a locker, but we got 21" of snow yesterday and I was able to get around. The snow was up past my floorboards. No locker.
your life story? (or is that our V.P.?), clueless

Hondas have downfalls. Their auto trannys are junk IMO. Trying to get all fancy with the tranny. Why? I think a cvt gets the job done a lot cheaper? See there is a downfall. IMO of course.

If you can't see where you are going, just point and fire!

A couple more questions on this topic:
1)Can the diff locks on the Grizz and the KQ be operated on the fly (in the middle of the mud hole) or not?
2)on the Polaris AWD, I had one dealer tell me that once the AWD was engaged, it would not disengage until the operator either turned the bike off or switched back to 4x2. Is that true? If not, when does it disengage?
Thanks for all the info so far!

Yes, there are some IGNORANT A$$ dealers out there. You can get more help on the I-net than at a dealer around here. I walways go int there and ask them about stuff just so I can tell them they are wrong or explain to them how it works. It's great, really, try it some time.
