rincon 700 how good

....and the Polaris 800 is a 760. Yeah, we know, LOL! I posted that because of a lil' pi$$in' contest about the Rincon being a 700. Seems the initial ad campaign reading "700 class" threw some folks as to what the Rincon was being ~called~. Don't count on Honda to go Twin-wise any time soon. How long did it take them to go w/ disc brakes.....?

Don't really think so, although some are pretty darn close though ................

I wish I could answer the original question though..gggggggrrrrrrrrr
I've heard good things about the new ones though.....
Enough I'm keeping and eyes/ears open
Doing lots of reading....
I love mine now, but would love to upgrade to the new one.....
I race mine (still bone stock), I just love launching that thing and doing doubles
But would like to test the little better suspension and the EFI.
Just maybe someday........
hahahahaha

Jeff, Your comments about Honda are on the mark. The two biggest issues for many people is the lack of a low, crawler gear, or a low range, and a non-lockable front diff, but they do make a great machine.
But, WRT the twin cylinder thing... having lived in Japan for a few years and having read extensively about Honda, it is my belief they are not likely to have more than one cylinder for a long time. This is because of Mr. Honda’s philosophy - if you want more power, just spin the engine over more, don’t add displacement or additional cylinders. Proof abounds - S2000 (9000RPM redline), NSX (6cyl) and Honda's, overall reluctance to compete, size and cylinder wise with their rivals. In the end I suppose it depends upon exactly where this horsepower race within the ATV community goes. They may be forced to make a twin, but look for them to seriously lag the market. If anything, Honda is stubborn about responding to customers in that regard. I see no change in that thinking since Mr. Honda passed away.
BTW, if you pronounce Honda the way we do in America to a Japanese he will not have the slightest idea who (what) you are talking about. We pronounce the "o" very short, almost a short "a." The Japanese pronounce the "o" very long (make your mouth round as you say it) and strongly accent the "da."
Jeff, I too just bought a 800 Max and spend over 1/2 the year near Bondurant. Lots of decent riding nearby if you're ever in the area. And you??
