First off, i am FAR from brand loyal. And also, i've always thought Honda has been the closest with THE breakout quad. This is why, and unlike the other posts, its almost forReal (or atleast somewhat). ok here goes:
Features:
High Output 800cc Engine
Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI)
Global Position System (GPS/Optional)
Hondamatic Transmission (ESP 5speed and/or D1 D2 with Hi Lo Range N, R, and ParK)
Dual Exhaust
More ground clearance that most Honda's
I love all 4x4 systems so idk which one i'd pick (SP,Grizz,Kawi,AC,KQ etc..)
Ducks Unlimited Wetlands for Stock Tires mounted on ITP Type 5 Delta Black - thats a decent stock tire
THE RESULT...

2007 Honda Rincon 800 EFI H.O. GPS 4x4

I don't like the idea of a built in GPS system in a quad for the simple reason that GPS systems are changing soooo fast right now. Perhaps the best idea for GPS is an intagrated mounting place. A shelf or something built into the quad in front of the handle bars where you have room to mount whatever the latest and greatest systems happen to be.

I'd redesign the wolverine with lots of aluminum parts to keep the weight down to around 450 lbs. I'd give it the 700r fuel injected engine with an autoclutch. I'd use really nice looking plastic that would be racy yet still keep mud off you. It would have selectable 4x4 with a locker like the grizzly. The suspension should have around 8 inches front and back with a SRA. It would be a bit slower than a raptor 700 but would be an all around winner. Fast enough to keep up with a group of sport bikes. Faster than all stock 4x4s (including the outlander). It would be bit wider than the old wolverine and thus handle better.

Oh and an optional rear rack. Say it with me....."Utility Class Winner!"

MSRP: 7699.00

(Hmm................ Isn't this what the new wolverine should have been?)
