I just got an 06 honda rancher AT and purchased some bigger wheels and tires that the dealer had on it in the showroom. The only problem is it slower taking off and on hills vs the other stock 05's my family has. One of the mechanics at the dealer said that its not a good idea to mod a racher AT cause the tranmission wont work right due to its fluid operation or some crap like that. I usually dont use the auto mode anyway. Think its a load of crap? Also, are there any big bore kits available for it? Or just jetting, muffler, and filter? Thanks in advance.

 

I am not sure becuase mine are stock but any of you other guys giving good info I want to know the same thing. I have been looking ant the Big Gun Slip on Jetting w/ K&N filter and outerwears with no cover. I haven't heard of anything bad about moding Ranchers but if there is let me know too before I mess up my quad!!!
