Hello everyone! I have a Yamaha YFM225S (1986) utility atv that badly needs new rear shocks. I am asking for advice on replacements since the best price that I can find on oem shocks is around $340 for a pair. I use it around the farm, no racing whatsoever. Right now its completely stock, pretty basic. The currents shocks on it are completely shot and it handles pretty poorly.

I would look on ebay for some used stock shocks

 

I am also looking for replacement shocks for my yfm 225. Are there any shocks that have the same specs (length, bolt size) regardless of brand?
