Ah, If i were to read alittle bit more I would understand why these number different from mine. The sales I seen were national, not global. And the curtomer satisfaction is also national. I'm surprised to see Polaris that high in a global survey. Guess everybody is everywhere now.

The best for hauling/towing and for factory accesories is usually Arctic Cat.
The best for comfort is usually Polaris.
The Yamaha Grizzlys and Suzuki King Quads are generally not best at any one thing but often have the best overall combination of features, performance, and price.

When I was looking for a ATV 4x4 Utility I found Suzuki had the best low prices for what you get. I liked the 400 Eiger in particular for the buck.

There are two types of Utility Quads the "hard core" ones like a 400-450 Foreman and older Big Bear (Plus others) and the "work or play" type most people would rather live with such as a 450 Kodiak or Arctic Cat kind (Plus other makes& models) where after the jobs done it still a enjoyable comfortable riding machine.

It's funny how some people yap about how reliable Hondas are, yet they have nothing to back the claim up with. Like my brother in law -- 2004 Honda 450es with 500km on it, and he'll go on all day how these things are the most reliable things on the planet. And I'm thinking, wow 500k AND you drive like an old women -- come talk to me when you have a few thousand k on the thing then you can talk about reliability.

thats because within a 50 mile radius, the only dealer around is a bom dealer

THat might be because Cowtown is the largest Can-am dealer in the U.S.

I like seeing the stats, but if what I am seening around the country out on the trail is any kind of indicator at all. I bet that 05' final % vs the 06' est. of only a 1% increase for BRP is going to end up a little short when the sales are all in for the 06. I have seen more BRP quads on the trails in the past 10-12 months than I thank I had seen since BRP started making quads a decade ago. I am betting it moves up to more into the 7-8% range of market share, when the 06' sales are all in the books. I would also not be surprised to see that percentage come right off the Kawi and Polaris percentages more than any other. I belong to allot of different forums and that seems to be what most people are trading in on the Outlanders. I know I sold two prairies one 650, one 700, and one Sprotsman 800 and replaced them with now a total of 3 Outlanders, all durring the past 12 months. The Can-am as they are called now is going to be coming on strong in the next few years. I am not sure they will ever make it to the level that the top 3 are at now, but I bet they give it one heck of try.

It's funny you say that, we were at two atv derbies this weekend and I was blown away at how many Can-ams were there, and most of them were 800s. Another thing I noticed was that there was quite a few Hondas but they were all older ones.
