Doc, the Warn remote toggle switch and pistol-grip assembly is sturdy indeed, as you say; however, I've managed to mangle a couple by running over them with trucks during logging operations!

I've seen the insides, and confirm they're sturdily-constructed. However, few items of equipment are "Tree Farmer-proof!" (I'm talking about operator error; no design defect exists.)

See, Pflueeb, I not only run over the winch cable, but the control switch as well, given an opportunity!
