Default Suzuki eiger bogging down

I've recently bought a suzuki eiger it starts runs on choke and runs well at idle but as soon as you hit the throttle it bogs down, back fires and splutters, if it does get goin the exhaust glows red hot at the manifold possibly running to lean? It's had the valves redone recently but may be bigger jets any help would be appreciated😊
Thanks

Have you checked into the carb? Worn parts, gummed up/stopped up main jet, float sticking, etc. Could be anything of that nature.

I've had the carb in bits and cleaned it out a few times before!

Sounds like you need a complete rebuild, bits and pieces cleaning will only make more trouble for you. I would highly recommend a quality carb rebuild kit with larger jets especially if anything has been done to the engine or exhaust has been modified. Any time a change is made to the engine, the carb must be modified to match, otherwise your engine will be short lived. Can't tell you how many good engines have gone up in smoke just because the carb was not jetted properly.

If the engine's stock,no mods, a simple carb kit may solve the problem. Shindy Suzukii Eiger carb kits | eBay
