i think TGi said it best::::---
"Rincon has no EBS, no locker, no low range and drum brakes. The SP700 has all of these but lacks light weight and a fancy tranny. I'm not a big Honda fan (I admit it) but these two machines although are targeted at the same group of buyers have two totally different functions. The Honda seems to be more of a luxury ATV (kind of like an Acura) and the SP700 (is a Hummer) has a lot of plush and it's backed up by more power for the rough stuff."
you can put big mud tires on a chevy tahoe too. is doesn't mean it's a good mudder. some people will think it looks cool, some (like me) think it's flat-out foolish! and that's how the rinnys look on highlifter....like a tahoe with gigantic mudders. it's common knowledge the rinny wasn't designed on intended to go through that type of abuse....... however, the Sportsman WAS!

mtpockets, nice comments!! you better watch your 2 Year old son more closly!!
I don't believe that the grizz beat the sp700 in the mud, ask TEXMUD about that.
If you want a real quad, get the Grizzely. I saw it smoke both the honda and polaris in drags, hill climbing and mudboggin, you cant go wrong with it

If you ride in tight woods areas, both will do, but the Sportsman has a tighter turning radius(76in compared to 128in). sprtsmnfan,
This is why my NEXT ride will be an SP600/700. Anybody else into bustin NEW trails in the woods?

But the Sportman. Honda needs to wake up and make a descent atv. Instead of riding on all the brans loyalists. At least polaris is listening to consumers. Although I've known of some Polaris problems in the past, still noboby gets to be the number two quad producer buy standing around picking their nose and pointing to all the good quads they used to make!
