Default Recon or Beartracker?

actually! you can get some quads that will perform better than those for almost the same price, like the ozark, blaster,or save up a while and buy a rancher or bayou 300 4x4 because you will be able to mud bog with him

Will a Blaster beat a Mojave? My bro's was about an 85' or so, but it was really well maintained. I think it was bored out too. It was fast.

Trailbreaker 70,
My guess is that a blaster would beat a mojave, because its a two-stroke. Another nice thing about the blaster is that it retails for aroud $3200, which is cheaper than a recon or beartracker. However, I'm thinking that if the Blaster is anything like a Banshee, then it is a kick start only and no reverse, but I can't say for sure. What I can tell you is that if speed isn't that important to you, get the recon or beartracker, because clutch four-wheelers can be hard to ride in certain situations, the chain can be ruined by mud and snow if it isn't watched, and mixing gas for two-strokes is a pain in the a**.

Yeah, the Blaster is kick start and has no reverse. The Beartracker is actually only about $100 more than a brand new Blaster. I know I want a four-stroke. They may not be as fast, but they are quieter and more reliable.

I have the beartracker with a few mods it is a great machine. I loved it when it was stock but got even better when modified. You can get a cam for the beartracker now to.

Haymaker, what have you added to your B-Tracker and where did you get it. I found quite a bit of stuff at denniskirk.com. The one thing that I can't find for it is skidplates. It doesn't have as much protection on the bottom as the Recon or Ozark.

I used to have a beartracker and never had any problems, I could beat a buddy on the trails, he's got a recon. Both are great 4wheelers, you should be sastified either way.
