Trailer to pull behind quad

BogginUltramatic:
I just got the new 2000 Spring catalog from Northern Tool & Equipment. They've got about 18 different styles of trailers to pull behind an atv, or lawn mower/yard tractor. Prices range anywhere between $99 for 10 cu ft pull behind dump, all the way up to a huge 4'x8' hydraulic tilt dump bed trailer with 4000 pound rating for $799. All different platforms, or siderails, one that you adjust the length of the frame, drop in a bolt, then build your own bed. Phone number is 1-800-533-5545 for a free catalog, or www.northerntool.com. The trailers are under the Outdoor & Recreation section-wagons and carts, pages 88-90. I've ordered a couple things from them now, and the service is great, usually get the stuff in 2-3 days. Hope this helps.

Greetings,
Like they said, Northern has a large selection. I bought their red ATV trailer -- its not the biggest but it has large all terrain tires and good ground clearance. Its rated 700 pounds and has very substatial axles. Also, being shorter than some, its not so likely to drag going over rough spots.
If you get on their mailing list they will eventually send you a catalog with a free shipping offer. This helps a good bit on the prices of large items.
Cabelas offers what looks like the same trailer but in black if that matters to you.

I too am in search of the "perfect" atv trailer. Noted several models at Northern Tool and Quality Farm. I have a QF store near, but they don't have most of the trailers they carry on display.
Surfing, I found what looks like a great trailer. It can haul 750 lbs., has 12 inches of clearance, is lightweight and from the looks of it, well designed. The company is LMI Welding out of Cut Bank, MT. Price is $695, which seems somewhat high. The link is:

Check it out. I'm curious what you opinions are.
