Default 1974 CZ 250 Falta Replica

I didnt have 1 of these but did have a 73 with a bunch of mods. It had a Mikuni carb, Koni shocks moved forward 3" and a 5 speed tranny. Ill try to dig up a pic of if I can find one. ....nothing sounded like a CZ when its running if youve never heard 1. Sounded like it could grenade at any moment...large aluminum fins magnifying every sound the inside were making...

that is a sweet bike. looks like it has a fair amount of rake, probably pretty stable at speed? i hear yea on those huuuge fins! hard to even describe the sound, awesome! but then again, every once in a while, i'll put some castor/bean oil in my lawn mower and pretend i'm back in the day. i can almost smell it

Yah the sound is memorizing if your old enough.. The CZ would turn but not as well as a Maico would....

doesnt everyone run a little bean oil in their 4 stroke lawn mowers? Ive been doing that for many years...in the beginning because its all i had a round...now its a cheap memory..

I bought it new in 1972, I was 17 then. I rode the living dog snot out of it till around 75, 76 and sold it. I got into street bikes on & off till a few years back. I just got into quads around 2001 and been having fun ever since........

I sure miss that Husqvarna though. I did ALLOT of desert racing in Cali Nevada AZ & Baja, Mexico.
