Default 1986 lt 230 quadsport rear end adjustment

Hi i have a 1986 lt 230 quadsport and When i adjust the chain I tighten the clamps down as far as they go. But the chain still loosens after a ride or two. This quad has new rear bearing new swing arm bearings new rear sprocket so it cant be any of those. Any suggestions

is it that the adjuster loosens up and slips? or are the chain and sprokets worn out?

Get a good o ring or x ring chain. Is it a stock chain?

Default What brand chain did you get?

Did you get a low quality chain?
IF so it might be stretching every time you ride it.
Or if you are tightening the chain too much when you land off a jump or bump the chain gets stretched.
Remember to look at the chain adjustment with nobody on the quad, then get someone on it so compress the suspension to the full bottom and make sure it's not too tight at that point. If it it when you land the chain gets stretched at this point and can actually break.
