Default '96 sportsman 500

is the flywheel off of a new orr older model sportsman interchangeable with a '96 sportsman 500?

All that matters is the stamp on the back of the flywheel, it 's either a FF97 or FF95 they work off different stators is the reasoning.

The FF95 is
150-200 watts
compared to the FF97 250 watt output I think.
