Man I leave for 12 hours and all the action happens! This sounds like a great place....I agree with not making the name indicate that we are all speed demons, for the landowners sake and for the insurance company....We have to pay insurance on the property we hunt on and the insurance is $1.25 an acre, however when I called the other day and spoke with the guy from the insurance company he said $30-55 an acre, for something like the Dunes...This place sounds like it would be well worth every pennie that had to be spent...............

Also this weekend I plan to make a trip to the Dunes, Having sand with drawls, I am going to stay at the little rv park beside the Dunes so I will have some electricity....Should be there Sat morning so if anyone else plans to show up let me know...........Eagles what time do you plan to be there Friday?

By if we are planning to meet up at the Dunes 4th of July I vote that we all stay over at the place I was talking about, The rv park, It is right beside the Dunes and plus they have a pavillion that we could set under and discuss everything.........Just a thought!

Welcome in 20 always good to have new people!

I live in New Iberia but make a trip up there every 2 weeks to pick up my son who lives with the ex in Greenwell Springs. I think it would be cool to be able to take him ride when I pick him up!

yeah i know the area bad is talkin about its about 20-25 min form my house. I don't know exactly the place he is talkin about the cause it seems he said it was past that convenient store which i don't normaly go past i normaly turn on that road that cuts to 16 which is before where i think he is talkin about. I have road on the river though right past that exxon station which is pretty cool and it has an old pit with a few dunes on it. I sent badittude a message to see if maybe a few of us can go up to the place he is talkin about next week which is why i was askin who lives around here.

The fee is 15 Dollars anight which is weel worth the electricity and it also has running water.....I decided to start staying there b/c it gets so hot at night plus it is nice to be able to wash your hands after you eat bar-b-que...Also there is no dust what so ever and there is a trail that goes right to the Dunes..

Hey fella's, how about everyone send their email address, name, phone #'s and locations and I'll type up a list and distribute it to everyone who's in on this so we will all be able to contact each other. PM me with the info and I'll work on that.
