Lynnwood motoplex and skagit powersports just opened there 35,000sq inclosed dirt track!!! The track is for all ages and for all bikes, bikes and quads are allowed on the track. They run different classes and each class is 15 minutes at a time. trust me 15 minutes is more then enough, i was down there today and i couldnt go more then 10 minutes. cost is 35 bucks per rider, 25 bucks for the last 4 hours of the day and if you dont ride you can watch for 5 bucks!!
go to http://motoplex.net and scroll down to the end of the page and you will find more info
this is a great place to ride, races will be there in the fall, flat track racing, bmk's and go karts!

my only thing i had about theplace is that the whoops are to close for us guys who ride quads, they said they will change the tracks off and on.
anyways if anyone goes let me know, i wanna know what you think. I went with techtip101 from this site and out jumped him!!

That sounds pretty fun. However, I am still at the point where I like trailriding. Let me know when you are headed out riding. I'm usually up for it and I really want to meet riding friends! I'm NOT fast, but I am fun and a quick learner.

What about next weekend?

your not all that far from the track, probably 40 minutes, not a bad track to check out, bring yourkids with you and they could also ride, there were like 10 small kids out there riding, pretty friendly place to hang out.

Hello,
I checked out the web site bighonda listed and this looks like it would be a good place to practice, especially since my daughter can practice there to. I got a couple questions about the track for you guys that have been there. Do they maintain the track pretty well, or does it get kind of rutted out from the dirt bikes? Also, what are the jumps like? Are there doubles, triples? Those whoops sound almost as nasty as the ones out at Pacific Raceways!

The track seems to be in good shape. they groom it well. The jumps are not too big at all. You can get some good air off of them , but nothing to dangerous. The kids do fine on it. The whoops are not that bad.

You probably already know, but there is also Oakwood Arena out past Spanaway. It seems to be a pretty cool place for the sport crew to hang out. I think I could get the ol' 700 in the air, but the landing would sure suck.
