Hey guys!!!!

I want to make this CLEAR!..... I didn't roll down that hill, I did quite well riding down that steep switch- back, thank you very much

It's when I had a moment of delusion and thought I was George of the Jungle and leaped off the quad….. and right into that tree!!!

get it right!! No ROLLING down the hill!!!

George.

.... I mean Bill

You are right you didnt roll, sorry I didnt mean to say it that way...you made it down that hill in one piece and that in itself was an accomplishment. Besides I shouldnt give anyone any grief because I have had my wrecks too, but I was lucky enough not to have any witnesses to laugh at me while I was crying like a little baby.

Sorry I was trying to be funny and it just didnt work out that way...

NWQF

It was funny!! I was hoping my response was funny too!

anyone who can't crash, get up and laugh, shouldn't be riding with this group!

later

Bill (aka George of the Jungle)

I was falling out of my chair laughing my azz off at the coments about Bill's ordeal at Easton on Bill's Hill. Yeah George, oh I mean Bill, you don't let no stinking tree get the best of you, and you even finished the hill, when I saw you at the bottom of the hill all covered in dirt and muck, and discovered you were alright, I was snickering under my breath, I've been there and done that, I just get up, brush myself off and ask anybody around, Man did you see that, what a wipeout.
All I can say is your'e one tough dude.

Morning everyone. I got a new drop-in K&N filter for the preddy yesterday. When I took the lid off, the stock filter had a thin piece of foam sitting on top of it. About half of that thin piece of foam was melted into the filter and had a strong gassy smell. The preddy was running a bit hot Saturday. Not hot enough for the oil temp indicator to light, but hot enough that the fan was running pretty much all the time. Something I should be concerned about? It is still under warranty, so I'd like to get everything ironed out on it before the warranty expires.
Mike, I'd recommend an additional change as well as the k&n filter. disconnect the crank case hose from the airbox and put a uni crank case filter in the hose and tie it up to the frame. If for some reason you bike should turn upside down all your oil in your crank will drain into your airbox and clog your airfilter... putting a crank case filter in the hose will stop the oil from coming out and will allow it to breathe...

Is that the Flattrack series or have they changed it and added some of that fun TT racing?

Well here are the dates I just got off thier website
Saturday, June 4th
Flattrack Race

Saturday, June 25th
Flattrack Race

Saturday, July 23rd
Flattrack Race

Saturday, Aug 13th
Flattrack Race

i emailed them to see if they will also be having TT races so we'll see what they say!!! I sent a NICE email telling them how great thier track ect is, I was talking to my brother & we think they may also be runinng a winter series as they did last winter!! If this is the case I think we will be racing there rather than Monroe LOT less $$ even though they did up the entry fee to $30 1st class $15 after that, still you can get in the gate/pits for only $5 compared to $18 @ Monroe

I will be keepin this stuff updated as I hear/find out about it

That sounds like a good idea... I went to rockymountainatv.com and eBay and can't seem to find one. How do you search for this? Diameter of hose? Also, why do you think the pre-filter melted to my air filter. It is an intake system, so I don't understand how it could even get hot enough in the airbox to melt it? The preddy hasn't been upside down yet and the carb didn't sound like it was sputtering or anything. Please forgive the newb questions... I'm still behind the learning curve

A fun race you be to map a track starting at Boxcar hill and follow the right hand side out to hauser road and stay on the right all the way to spinning reel. then turn around and head up thee middle of the dunes then when you get to wild mare hand right to the break water and follow that back to bull run then cut across the middle and loop back thru all that stuff on the right side and back down hauser. then stick to the right siz on the way back to the box car area.

Well now we need new handlebars for the 400 ex Guess I better order them before the dunes trip.

My right leg is several lovely shades of purple and green - I think I'll wear shorts to the gym today
