Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

So I spent Sunday riding the SW Washington Fairgrounds. A friend of mine runs the Destruction Derby at the failr. I was a car chaser --- telling the crazy dudes when to line up. It was a blast. There is no better way to watch cars bashing than at the ground level with the dirt flying at you. There were a few times that I thought a car was going to get bashed right into me on the sidelines -- had to back up a few times. It was pretty hot and dusty -- but a great time was had by ALL. Another buddy of mine runs the pusher trucks. They have some really jacked up trucks that the drop a front bumper down low enough to push the dead cars off the field (and in some cases out of the way in the pits). It's pretty amazing how many cars show up not working and the operators hoping to get them running in time. They run the derby twice during fair week (Tuesday and Sunday) and on the Fourth of July. He runs a few others in neighboring counties as well. Just a sideline business for him. Not much money, but tons of fun.

The only problem was that running around in the pits made me more anxious to get out on the trails. How about it -- anyone up for Capitol Forest on Saturday (Sunday looks like rain). Monday could be good too if it stops raining by then???????

A little rain in capitol forest would be a good thing to keep the dust down, Maybe Sean and Fred could have their grudge race too!

This is how it works stan. Almost All of us Folks who chit chat in the "WashingMochine" thread use mozilla firefox. with firefox we have a tab within the browser dedicated to Todays topics, The spinzone and i have like PSAR and a couple others i watch all day as i see them pop up in the todays topics list. so we just refresh. also the forum software only counts 1 view per day from an IP address thats the skinny of how the posts per view ratio is so high.

TP- you gonna run SS this weekend?

Oh ya, I forgot you gave up speedway stuff like Brandon, I retract my statement/ question.
My shoulder got hurt 2 weeks ago. I don't know that I'll get to run TT on the 28th. I want to bad but I'll have to see in the next few days. As far as the big track goes, I don't have enough power to pull with the big quads. It would be like donating money.

I'm doing it just to say I got to ride it. And for me it is valuable seat time that I need oh so bad! The big Quads? what the hell man? You need me to set you up with a 15/ 36 combo so you can just run the heck out of 4th gear?
15/36 you are crazy!

I'm going to make a run down to sand lake with it this coming weekend. If any other PSAR's are interested in heading down that way lmk I'd like to meet up with ya.
I'm picking up my trailer Saturday so Sandlake's out for me. Bigdaddy's talking about a little campout at Beverly on the 17th and 18th of September, I think we'll make that one.
So, did I hear this right, Happa and Big D doing a weekend in Beverly. Is this a open invite to all PSAR riders or is it a private party??

Are you telling me people are still riding? I thought everybody was taking the summer off, oh wait that's me, 78 days with no riding for me, sounds like an alcoholic on the wagon
