Hey all! Haven't had good internet access for a while so I havent been posting. With dial up I can hardley get this site to load. Spent last week at Windy Bay with a group of old friends that I used to ride the Dunes with back in the late 80's and early 90's We had a blast and I rode my 660R and was real happy with it but that new 700R has been calling my name. Well yesterday the good folks at Smokey point cycle barn made me a deal I couldn't pass up and I brought Home a shiny new White & Silver 06 700 R. I believe I have the distinction of purchasing the first one out the door at Smokey point. I took a ride around the property last night and all I can say is wow! I love it, it out handles and performs just as well as my mildly modded 05 did. I was a little leery at first because my 660 ran real well after the few mods and tuning I did on it but I have no regrets. This is going to be a Dune Machine only So last night was the one and only dirt ride that I will take on it. I'll use the wifes 250 EX for any trail rides untill I can save up enough money to buy mysel a trail machine.
