They didn't have one in Portland, Friday afternoon isn't a good time to try in find one. The mechanic found one went to put it in and discovered it was the wrong one, I gave up, Val came down and picked me up, got home at 11:30pm. Now they have to order a clutch from BFE, it'll be ready Tuesday I guess. We just have to double up a driver going down and pick it up. 30 hrs in a stinking motel room, what a way to start off a vacation, I'm supposed to be off this week, I might be working Monday and Tuesday though, guess just taking a 3 day vacation.

 

Or atleast roosted too bad, maybe I can finish side by side, on second thought, make it an even 100 in a 300 distance, yeah, that'll do !!!

I told Val this afternoon that Her and Berta and I ought to drive down and visit ya. Then I told her we'd just visit and then leave. All 3 of us would come back home. She wasnt up for that. She said she'd stay. I can just imagine the ride home with you in the car, with 3 day old undies on. Sheesh!!!

BTW, The ol valves on the Pea Shooter were within specs. AND da man showed me how to do them, SOOOOO, next time, Im all over them.

Whats this you telling Josh he needs go fast parts against me. Remember, Im stock and Im staying stock. Heck, a stock 250EX can beat me.
