JediMike ?
I got the OK from Lu to break ( I mean ride ) the DVX with U all. If someone could so kindly post directions again I will show up at the staging by 9:30.

Oh yeah Larry I found a pair of neoprene gloves at the army surplus, they are new, not used and look like they just might do the trick for wet riding.

Traded in my Magellan SportTrak for a Garmin Rino 120. Anyone know a good source for maps? Preferrably a tad less expensive than the $116 per cd from Garmin. And will the Metroguide do well for trail and woods riding or do I have to get the Topo cd as well? Thanks.
This is some really good GPS/mapping/Topo software.
The Pro version is even better, you can get Satellite photos with it.

Just a note on the Rock Candy entrance, I remember you guys talking about it a while back.

The road is now open, bridge and paving is all done.

BEAR,
With the weather changing, were gonna take one last chance at slinging some lead
at a deer. Saturday they might be moving, and Monday might be good also.
The hunting calendar says Monday should be excellent hunting, we know how accurate that is.

If not, late buck is when we shoot all our deer anyway, easier to find the big daddies
Regular season is just for scouting.........

It's official, I am once again going to be "stomping" for deer. Yes, my unlucky buddies want the mighty hunter to show them where and how to find a deer that can be butchered and barbecued. The good news is that I won't be getting cold by sitting still -- instead I'll work up a nice sweat climbing up and down the monster hills, scrambling over logs, etc. I'll carry that big buck knife in case I sneak up on one while stomping.
