Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Hey Glen,
I read that topic earlier today, I just posted a reply on there

Happa, the 1/2 tons will do the job for some things.
Some of the newer ones are better than they have been.......
But, I would really strongly recommend going with at least a 3/4 ton.....
In the long run(and short), you will be much happier, and if you ever want to do more than the 1/2 will do, you can do it with with comfort and confidence.
Even though they are making more trailer that are lighter these days, you won't be so limited on what you can get....

I can honestly say that in the past few years I have recommended to others to get a 3/4 ton vs a 1/2 ton.
Every one of them went with the 1/2 ton....... Mostly due to purchsae price.......
They were crying the blues within a year or two for not getting bigger.....
My brother being one, and my friend Jim that you met being another. And also his brother.....

Just my two .02 worth

Good Luck on whatever you decide on

Quad4Fun has that one </u>
Also,

Circling the wagons, or some form thereof works good at Driftwood. I've seen others that have done that.
If it's windy, you can make a good windbreak
And you can make a nice common area in the middle, it's actually pretty cool idea...
I'll also have an EZ-Up or two we can use, but I may not be down their until Friday sometime

Oh ya, BTW, I almost forgot, duhhhhhhhhh.

Picked up Ashley another LT80 tonight
It's built to race, and is suppose to be a good one.
Motor built by a guy that is on here a lot. He is the Lt guru.

After taking it for a spin tonight, it's not quite up to par I don't think. (I think her stock quad could beat it right now)
But nothing a little work won't fix. It has all the parts and stuff to make it a fast a$$ lil mini
After he had the motor work done, his son didn't really race it enough to get it completely dialed in.....
So now the fun begins for me
I've got until Woodland starts in October to get it all dialed in.

I also got more extra part for it than I'll know what to do with
He emptied his garage of everything LT related .
I would make any parts warehouse jealous.
Now I just need to learn what it all is, how it works, what works with what, and how to figure out what to use for setting the lil machine up for different conditions.

WOW, I'm overwhelmed, but look forward to learning and helping Ash to do as well as she can

Originally posted by: wingdude I can't speak for the Ford, but our 1500 Suburban did NOT like our 23' loaded. That is why we went up to a 2500. But we also traveled with 4 women and you know how much chit they need to bring.
I hear ya there, one woman can bring enought chit for a week, even though the trip's only for two days and as I always say, all I need is a quad, fuel, beer. brats, cereal and coffee for the morning
