Larry and Val, sorry to hear about the new truck. I will keep my fingers crossed that they find it soon and intact. Definitely add my name to the PSAR Posse list. I will keep an eye out as well. I would almost feel sorry for the stupid a-holes if they got caught by anyone but the police. Not really. I am certain they have been busted before and let go, and who knows how many times they got away clean before. Reminds me of a time I had my campsite robbed by a little punk in Chelan about 6 years ago. We were gone from camp for less than 15 min walking the dog. When we got back, we noticed, of all the stupid things, the BBQ lighter was gone, then checked the tent to find out that someone had stolen our wallets, my truck keys, etc. As I was reporting the theft to the ranger, I saw the little jerk coming out of the bushes up the way and went after him. The ranger followed me and arrested him. He had burned my license and debit card, but had my keys, palm pilot, and other stuff in his backpack. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
I was so pissed, the ranger told that kid he was damn lucky he had caught him instead of me. He was too. Kid had a bat and mask in his pack with binoclars, too. He was lucky he didn't come into my camp when we were there, because I would have laid a world of hurt on him. As it was, he had to wonder if I was going to jump over that ranger and beat his butt when he was getting arrested. Hopefully, it made him think twice the next time he thought of stealing from someone.

I have grown up and learned to curb my temper, but still, the lack of consequences for that kind of thing really irritate me. Good Morning PSAR

I want to give a big thanks and a huge hug to all my PSAR Brothers and Sisters for all the support in the past couple of days. No news as of yet, we've taken all the necessary steps, insurance, ect. and just playing the waiting game. Luckly for us, our insurance guy has already filed a claim as to be prepared for whatever damage is done. The truck will be restored to showroom condition per insurance guy, no questions asked, no problems, lets just hope that pans out and we have no problems with the insurance company, they've been great to us for 14 yrs, so we'll have our fingers crossed. Will keep everybody informed as soon as we hear anything.

Larry, I can't believe what I'm reading here. I feel for you and I hope you get your truck back in good shape. There's just about no worse feeling than getting ripped off. There seems to be a rash of this going on. Speed Mart, our local sprint car parts store had there new duramax and 48' fifth wheel trailer full of parts stolen Tuesday night. Yesterday they found the trailer less some of the inventory but the truck is still missing. They really need to get tougher on these lowlife thieves when they catch them. I put the word out among my friends up here so you have people keepin an eye out for it to the north.

 

Wow, This is horrible!! You haven't even had the truck a week have you? I hope they finger print the heck out of the truck the scumbags left there. Also like quad4fun said somebody hopefully had seen something. Was there any glass on the ground? There is alot more thiefs these days that do a clean break on the rigs now adays. I will keep my eye out up in my neck of the woods. I hope you guys get it back in good shape. (keeping my fingers crossed)

Sorry to hear about the truck follies Larry/Val.

That makes me feel a little better about my ragly chevy that noboby would ever steal.

I've had my fair share of things stolen from me,,,,,,and it just sucks. (especially when the cops don't seem to give a damn)

At least the 700 wasnt in the back of it.

My guess is they stole the white, problaby saw Larry and Vals and thought it was nicer and worth more, so they dumped the white one and took there's. In the unfortunate event they don't recover it, did you guys get GAP insurance when you bought it?
