Hap, are you going to be there? I'd like to meet up with you and any other PSAR members who might be there and put some time on my 700 Will there be a lot of people there? What time are you showin up?


My trip to Sand Lake this past weekend turned into the trip from hell. Long story short about 30 miles out from home the upper ball joint broke on our Jimmy at 60 while I was passing a car on I-5 and it got a little hairy. We did finally get to SL in a different rig but the place was a zoo with about 500 Ford Broncos running around and the sand was rougher than hell. The wife about got run over by a Bronco so we bagged it and came back home. I rode for maybe 2 Hrs. A lot of BS for so little riding.

Well Angie I think Ron felt kinda bad about the truck actually..........................he bought me a BRAND NEW 2005 HYNDAI(sp) ELANTRA GT last night [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] this is my FIRST NEW car ever in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess on his way home from work he stopped & looked & drove a KIA, came home mentioned it then we had to go to Everett for an errand so I said why don't we check out Hyndai of Everett cuz they've been around awhile longer than Kia, so we go there didn't have exactly what we were looking for for the price, then we spotted the little GT [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] it's CUTE, got sport tuned suspension,4 wheel disc brakes,leather int,cd player,ac,sunroof, it's pretty much LOADED!!!! WE drove a stick & an auto, I liked the stick but KNEW I'd probably get a ticket w/ that LOL, I ain't no dummy [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img], plus I had to set to close to the air bag so I went w/ the auto(the auto had more goodies [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]) hell we aren't gonna know what to do w/ the GREAT gas mileage!!!!! More than we wanted to spend OF COURSE but they worked us a pretty good deal, w/ a good rate from BECU so it'll all work out!! Plus we got a rebate that'll be coming & make the payment for the next 4 months so that gives me some time to get a J O B!!!!!!!
YES YES YES we could of bought a couple NEW quads BUT all of our rigs are OLD & going to chit so this was the "smarter" thing to do!!!! So the suburban will be going up FOR SALE today, we didn't trade it in I didn't even want to know what they would give us for it LOL, I'm NO dummy [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I'd rather sell it on my own, we are going to fix the truck & might sell that also, Ron is going to start driving our RX-7 to work once he gets the brakes done. We're downsizing I guess LOL, heck w/ these gas guzzlers, we will still have the motorhome & she's a PIG in itself LOL
I'll have to take some pics of the new car today & post them up!!!!!
DJ is excited to he's thinkin he wants to drive it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I told him I haven't even drove it but around the block yet PAL LOL he starts driving school today WHOOHOOO he's going to the Defensive Driving School in Frontier Village heck he will get to drive a Mini Cooper [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Oh BTW Happa & Val thanks (well not really) to you guys we did go w/ the GAP on the new car, I told Ron about your truck & he was on it!!! hopefully this doesn't happen to us but now I feel much better [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] Wow, that's cool. Congrats on the new car. I'm sure i won't beable to see the pictures, my work blocks alot of sites. So i will have to come by some time to check it out. I'm sure you will love the gas savings on that car. I know i would. I have to fill up about every 4 days sometimes 3 to get to work and home. Sucks bigtime. Plus now that the price's have jumped 5 cents since yesterday i'm getting very nervous.

hey Kym i just went on hyundai's website to check out the car. What color car did you get? I like that blue one. Very cute car, my friend has the accent and damn that car is SMALL. The elantra looks more roomy.

YES the accent is VERY small, the Elantra has good leg room, DJ sat behind Ron w/ extra leg room so thats good LOL more room than the truck!!
