Default Puget Sound Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

WOW!!!!!!

The ROCK Claimed another quad today, BUT, It looks like its easy to repair (all is relative)

Its all a slowmotion blur, But Michael was all right when it was over (he even took the lead as we made it back to the staging area with his crippled quad!) what a kid! (I still don't know what that tree did to make him want to run it over?)

Got to meet Troy and Steph, Jeff and Ken, And as always, a real pleasure to ride with Larry and Rusty!

Still looking forward to meeting and riding with the rest of you!

Nick! I think we should make a "quad" door for your garage. Hope all is well getting the door repaired

and again, to all of you today, its fun to meet new friends (and ride!) AND YOU ALL CAME THROUGH IN A CRISIS.
WHAT A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE

Till Later

Bill

Default Puget Sound Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

I just got online for the first time this weekend, sounds like y'all had some fun out west. Maybe sometime I'll make it out to a ride. I'm headed back home tomorrow.

Yesterday. (after pulling an all nighter to get here... ) I raced one round of the Washington State championship MX series at Horn Rapids ORV park. This is the first time I was on the MX track for a MX race at this park.... and to tell the truth, I'm still chicken to do big jumps.... but hey, I had a blast! The track is awesome, I wish we had a track like this closer to home. it started out perfectly groomed, but became very choppy with braking bumps and acceleration holes from the bikes... but the track is wide, smooth and fast, the obstacles are larger, but don't beat the crud out of you or at least you don't notice it)... It is a very fun track race on.
How'd I do? 2nd in the 1st heat, 1st in the second heat, overall: 1st in class(2-str beginer) now the bad part: there were a total of 2 entries in my class, the other guy(12-13 y/o kid) DNS the 2nd heat. They ran 2-stroke sportsman on the same gate, I could not keep up either race.... just goes to show that no matter how well built the quad is, the rider is what matters... I may stink on the track, but I'm trying!

I decided against going today... I needed a break, one round was enough to put some hurt in the muscles. Plus had other stuff to take care of.

Next weekend- the 21st I'm headed to OPMC to try that track.... supposed to a lot of quads showing up, I guess i'll see.

The 27th & 28th I hope to be at the euro GP at Goldendale.... I talked with some of the guys at the race yesterday about it... it IS for real! The website's description of the track is exactly correct. The track is wide enough for wide quads (like mine), The terrain varies significantly- from rocky, to slightly muddy, to dry & dusty. The race is at 8:00 am maybe a little earlier, quads run the 6.5 mile loop 3 times. Saturday the race goes one direction on the loop, Sunday's race goes the other direction. now that sounds like FUN!! Anyone else up for some GP racing???

Sounds like everyone had some fun this weekend, a little damage but no major injuries witch is good to hear.

Next weekend were planning to go riding! Hopefully I will have all the parts to ride the 450. The plan is to do Pacific Raceways on Saturday and go to Rock Candy on Sunday.

But that can change any day! The other thought was to go to Rock Candy on Saturday and Port Angles race on Sunday still not decided???

I have been telling Todd (KFX700) about the race at Goldendale he is very interested. Not sure if he will make it or not. But that is what he would like to race. I would go but I have the Top gun that weekend at Hornsrapids, I already paid for the track time.

Well after talking to Jeff Mcgahan about P/R. There will not be any Quad practice untill 10/11.

We are going to go to Rock Candy on Satyrday. Then going to OPMC on Sunday!!! Thats if all the parts get here in time.
I called on the A-arms they are on the way but they have +2 tie rods with them. So they are sending +1 tie rods air.

Hi everyone!

I have a guy here who is driving me crazy telling me stories and about all the fun he had this week-end riding with you all. He and Rusty came home in the afternoon dragging their tails like tired puppies and I told them that what they get for trying to keep up with all you youngins'...lol.

They had a blast though and I am always just glad to see them both walk in and be safe and sound from riding. I do think it's time for me to buy some stock in IceyHot though with all of it we seem to be going through .

I dropped the pics Lar took off to be developed and I will update the site by tomorrow night if all goes well. I can't wait to see them....

Steph - thanks for the push on the quad talk, I have told Lar that as soon as he quits buying on the Yamaha card and pays it down alittle, I will get a quad so now we just have to wait and see what little pretties he just has to have for the Rapbeast.

Hope to meet you all soon...take care!

TTFN......

Boy Larry, you are in big trouble!!!
Here you go, prettying up the Raptor and keeping Hollywood from enjoying the tons of people who want to get together to ride. It time to quit Billeting this and that, and saving them pennies so Hollywood can experince the fun we all get to have. And by the way, whats with all of this crashes I keep hearing about at the Rock. See what them high speed logging roads do to ya? lol. Just kidding. Anyway, I think Hollywood is aching to get out there with the rest of us. And besides that, the women in our lives do have a way of trying to convince us to slow down. As for Roberta and I, well, Saturday we are going to Evans Creek. Gonna try the 8 mile loop. From what I understand, it may be a bit on the diffiuclt side. But oh well, there will be one of my co-workers with a jeep and a winch in case of trouble. Then on Sunday, Berta wants to go back over to Tahuya to do the Overlad trail. Im gonna see if I can talk her into the Rock instead. Its been quite while since we have ridden down there.
Take Care All

Nick

Airraptor

Great riding with you, thanks for helping me out no man's land at the end of that one finger, sometimes you just have to see just how far the quad will take you before it say's, I'm not going any further LOL. Thanks for letting me take your Raptor for a spin, it was pure pleasure, I'm still trying to put my eyeballs in front of the sockets where they belong, man is that thing fast.

Look foward to some fast, technical riding in the future, I can always learn from the experienced, Thanks
P.S. My tools are going back in my pack, the heck with the extra weight haha.

Nickli

My billet days are over, like those famous words from Roberto Duran, No Mas. No Mas, hehe. After riding Airraptor's quad, now it's time for more power!, power!, give me more speed!, I need more speed!!!, Excuse me while I get a grip on reality, ok I'm back in the real world, oh yes, Valerie, that wonderful woman whom I adore and will love till the end of time, so understanding of my needs, wants and desires, yes baby, just one more thing for the Raptor, oh yes, I really need it, everyone else has it, it's for safety, ect. ect. Those days are over, I'm finished with mine, I think hehe.

I want to get the Grizzly for her, then we could 660 together, and of course it would have the winch to help pull SoXx (Kevin) when he runs off the road, man was that a long way down there. I'm hoping in the Spring, I will do my best, or should I say SHE will do her best, since I don't touch the checkbook, all I know how to do is spend, spend, spend. She will get a quad, even if I have to stand on the street corner begging for money, please help a Vet, my wife needs a quad.

Miss riding with you guys, let's get together after Sandlakes, going this weekend.

Take Care, have a good week,

Larry

Ya RaptorChick has the same problem I keep spending money on hop up's for the 450. When she wants stuff for the Raptor the good thing is that she has a bike so its just mods that she wants. She say's next time the Raptor gets in a accident the A-arms need to be bent up so I will have to buy +2 A-arms, shocks, and axle. instead of getting stuff for the 450.
