BUT, it took probably an hour longer each way. So, is time worth more than the fuel saved?

Personally Id rather spend the extra to get off the road sooner
I wouldn't like getting passed by all the yahoos out there!

One more gas milage report.

While we were down there at Florence and after Joel told us of his misfortune I figured Id take the slow route home and do the speed limit. My F150 with the toyhauler and 2 bikes comes in at about 12000.

I was getting 7.8 to 8 mpg where ever I went. Not knowing that I was supposed to stay at 60 I drove at 70.

Coming home, I kept it right at 55 in Oregon and 60 in Washington.

And I got 9.1 MPG coming home.

So, for me the trip down to Florence and back was about 680 miles.

Going slower saved me 13 gallons of fuel. About $35 bucks.

BUT, it took probably an hour longer each way. So, is time worth more than the fuel saved?

well I have checked it both ways with this truck speed limit =7.0mpg ...70-80mph=6.5mpg

Naw Kymmy, you missunderstood MY POST.

I misread your post about the new team member at the barn (thinking employee) like your McDonalds team.

Anywho, Gregg talked with a few people about bringing on a 250R rider for the Quad Team. (as there are still alot racing out there) after much discussion, Justin was at the top of the list. He gets pants, jersey, gloves, a jacket and beenie. His discount is less than the typical race team discount. (he and Bobby know this)

The last I knew, you still had Ride motorsports as a shop sponsor for DJ. Is this not true for the year? Let me know.

Ahhh it's GREAT isn't it why do you think I"m NOT racing now but then again i can pay my own fees now I'm calling today to get a pit parking spot I hope anyway Isn't weeman racing?? He shouldn't have to pay for a pit pass???????????????????? Trevor never did when he was that young????!!! I'm pretty sure he doesn't though
DJ is running 2 classes, maybe 3 some nights on Ron's 400, & Trev is running @ least one but maybe 2 not sure yet!! DJ's bummin cuz his buddy he likes to race w/ is out for the season due to an ACL surgery (Andy Peterson #28)
It's gonna be a GREAT season I HOPE!!!!!
