The OEM rear skid on the preddy is probably the best one I've seen for a plastic skid. I don't think a metal one would be any better. The one under the engine won't protect the frame at all, but it keeps the rocks off, a metal one would probably be in order if I took it on the trail.

We're gonna do something - haven't figured out what. Don't wanna remove the airbox, cuz then water on the trail is a bad thing. We're thinkin about the thingy where you drill holes in the airbox, then insert the little round things with filter things in them.......
