I was alittle older than a kid, but I did watch ole Johnny and Bart play, anybody who knows football knows who I'm talking about, now there were some Quarterbacks.

My favorite reciever was the man who perfected the post pattern, Hayes himself, now there was some speed.

Assumming Star and JohnnyU? Pretty good ones! Paved the way. Who was you favorite RB from your era? Sayers was pretty good. JB maybe?

You got those right, old school players, Bob Hayes, reciever, then he took a bad turn later in life, drugs do it you everytime. Running back? Sayers was bad azz, favorite? I'll have to think about that one.

Directions to Rock Candy Staging Area and "The Place"

I-5 South, exit Highway 101 North in Olympia

"The Place" is 5 miles west on 101, just past mile marker 363, 2nd Av. S.W. Exit, turn right then left on first road, it's on the right hand side. There's also a road sign that says "The Place" right before the exit.

Staging area is 5.5 miles further west on Highway 8, just past "The Place", 101 veers to the right, proceed straight on Highway 8, go past the 76 gas station, look for a turn lane to the left and a green sign on the right saying Rock Candy Mt. Rd. turn left and follow the gravel road, staging area will be on the right side about 1/4 mile past the highway.

Happa would have been just a kid when he was playing.
After playing he was a color commentator for MNF (monday Night Football) with Hank Gifford and Howard Cosell.
Now I'm really showing MY age!
I'll have to give Happa crap about dis'ing Bledsoe! He's a fellow Coug!

Now I know you were a kid when you watched Johnny Unitas and Bart Starr!

Oh yeah, there ya go, a good Navy man, can't say anything bad about him, but Dandy Don was quite a character, especially on Monday Night Football, ahhhh, the good ole days.
