Good one Big D,
that is funny............

Ok, I'm trying to do some research, but thought I"d pose this while I'm on here looking.

I'm regearing the LT80......
Some of you are familiar with the type of track that Oakwood and RMC are..
They are very similar, I'm trying to make the quad a little better at those tracks

It has stock 22 rear and 10 front.
I want to go up one tooth in the front.... Thus have a 22/11
But I don't have a 11, all I have is a 12, and no chain to fit the jump to a 12 front.

So, what would it do if I go down to a 21 in the rear and up to a 12 in the front??????

I have a chain that fits that combo perfect........

Thanks a Bunch

OK, the chart below shows.........

22x10 = ratio of 2.20

21x12 = ratio of 1.75

21x10 = ratio of 2.10

Rebel Gears - Gear ratio chart

Anybody have a good resource that can explain what that means........

I'm trying, really........

EDIT.......
Ok, that looks like a pretty big difference, I'm guessing that wouldn't be a good idea.
I'm gonna see if I can make a 20x10 work, that's the same ratio as what I want with a 22x11
