A first grade teacher explained to her class that she was a Steeler's fan.
She asked her students to raise their hands if they were Steeler's fans too.
Not really knowing what a Steeler's fan was, but wanting to be liked by their teacher, their hands
all went into the air.

However, there was one exception. A little boy named Timmy had not gone along with his classmates.

The teacher asked him why he did not raise his hand, "Because I am not a Steeler's fan" says Timmy.

The teacher then asked, "What are you?"

Timmy said "I'm a Seahawk's fan"

The teacher was a little perturbed now, her face slightly red, she asked Timmy why he was a Seahawk's fan.

"Well, my Mom and my Dad are Seahawk's fans so I'm a Seahawk's fan too"

The teacher was now angry. "That's no reason" she says loudly. "What if your Mom was a moron and your Dad was an idiot?"

Timmy smiled and said "Then I'd be a Steeler's fan!"

I haven't heard of any power outages up here yet.
The wind isn't blowing real hard yet. About 15 mph is all.

Val nor I have Monday off, just another weekend for us. DM said there were 3 parking lots at Sandlake now, I only remember two, one for overflow camping and one for day use, even if there were 3 lots, it's gonna be a zoo there, they aren't that big.

 

I think our first trip will be east before south, leave Friday afternoon, come back Sunday afternoon, just don't know when [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

I know what you're saying about Sand Lake. Camping is allowed in every parking lot. No real designated day use only area.
The campground is also open year round ( according to the web site) they just don't take reservations in the winter.
I'm sure it will be a zoo there that weekend. I would much rather drive the 2 hours further for the Florence dunes. Not enough variety at Sand Lake for me to make the trip worth it. JMO

I need to strip down my Blaster (Katie's) and paint the frame Yamaha blue. It is now all black with black plastic too. Should look good with a blue frame and black plastic. I need to make room in the garage first!

 

My thoughts exactly, I can get bored riding at SL in a couple of hours and every time I've been there the sand has been rough. I just don't care for the place that much. If the weathers good I'll be in Florence on Presidents day weekend. I'll be staying at the park Motel in Florence.
