Not scared, but as a former haul azz 250R owner I know what they are capable of. I'll give it a go though just to see how the ol 4 poke stacks up
Don't worry I couldn't afford to get him that 425 kit for his birthday

SWEET, expect to run a 178 main now. Get it broke in where its at, and then play with the jetting.
I already picked up a 178 main, but like you said, I want to run it for break in and then check the plug.

Come on Larry, I've had my 450, excuse me, 480R apart and back together 4 times now in the past two weeks.
Just put it back together an hour ago and started it up. She purrs like a kitten. Now I'm letting it cool down to see if the valve seal replacement fixed the problem. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Ohh yes.. Remind me why i wanna build my motor? NAAAAA i aint got the patience without a personal pit crew.. since i aint rich yet i don't have one so I'll just buy another quad. and a mocycle

Yeah, and a burger BBQ for you and RG and Carissa when you're up to it.

Been looking forward to meeting you but this week is out due to prior commitments. Anybody doing anything on Saturday?
So maybe next week or the week after. I try for at least one mid week ride if not 2. Too soon for me to know about saturday, SHMBO is off saturday and sunday this week.
Next week I'll be at the farm, probably for eight or ten days depending on how the work and remodel go. SWMBO just got called and has agreed to work on Thursday so our plans for that day are changed. I would be available for even a short ride if you are interested.
Thursday works for me. You want to ride Capitol or Shelton Fairgrounds? What time do you want to meet up?
