Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Sounds like dunefest was a real blast. Glad everyone made it home in one piece, at least no injuries reported as yet. Sounds like something for old fat men to take a video camera too and make incriminating films. And as far as the number of pages to catch up on, it was a challenge just to keep the PSAR site on the upper part of the first page of "Where to Ride". I have a ton of time to burn I may be in for a day ride. I am up for almost anywhere. If your looking for input unfortunately I only know the places I always ride. Bear if you haven't been to Elbe Hills and are up for a little challenge we could go up there. I know the place like the back of my hand and everybody travels at your speed on the upper loop they have no other choice (no offense intended)
I've been to Elbe once and I'm too old and fat to work that hard for a ride anymore. Saying I'm slow now, can not hurt my feelings. I have been very, very fast in my life in several different modes of transportation and now slow works just fine for this old, fat guy just fine.
Yeah, slow and easy, me too.

Damn, I guess MB is right Slackers. Where the hell is everybody?
I heard some folks were off somewhere eating sand.
SLACKERS! I just home and this has been a horrible hoish day GOSH!
Yeah! Gee Whiz! By Jimminy! Good Golly! and Pshaw! Umm What is it were upset about?

Oh! Yeah, the lack of posts. Even OFC is loosing his daily average. Must be a shift in the cosmic equilibrium brought on by the butterfly effect emanating from massive sand displacement somewhere to the South. Or not.
Umm.. No sand.. But sunds we took the Harly rake and drove around the track and ground it all out and made fluff and then raced a few laps and then drug the rut shaving drag behind the quad to get the grove back in. then my chain started skipping and i was like wtf. so i went down to tighten my chain and yeah... the sprocket side carrier bearing had grendaded and ground out the inside of my carrier and trashed the sproket spindle.. So Im in need of a new carrier and bearings and dust covers and sprocket spindle. Completely lame time for it to break. oh well its only money.
OFC not eatin sand, playin in dirt! OFC broke his splatty!

3 to 4 feet above the asphalt is good enough for me, pilots have me respect, I am a gutsy MF but I am not sure I have the ***** for some of the stuff I have seen them do. I am speaking of chopper pilots specifically most fixed wing pilots are *****'s.

Member that time, back in June? We talked about someone else, talking about quads.

Summerfun, which part of Marrzville you in?
We're up in Smokey Point.

Had a great time, riding thinking of hitting the dunes in Sept. Hope to ride at least one more time before that. It gets a little spendy renting, of course that's how we started sledding, and now we have 5 of them.

My son's show at The Viper Room was KICK AZZ!
I know I may be a little biased, but his band has gotten really good! They packed the place and rocked out for over an hour!
The new CD sounds great!
He has a neat song on it which is a tribute to his little brother, pretty cool!

Summerfun, welcome to this crazy thread!
There are a few of us going to the dunes in Sept. (Horsfall at Coos Bay)
I'm heading to the same place in a couple of weeks.
Get to know all the great people on here and you will have many different quads to try out. Everyone is always letting others swing a leg over their quad to take them for a test ride.
You might want to try a sports quad on the trails too. A lot of us ride sporties everywhere. Lots of fun on the trails with lots of power and not near the weight.

Bear:

We were nearly to the top of the pass when SWMBO got a call. One of the nurses has been told not to come to work as she has the crud and in contagious. Wife is on duty for the next several days for sure and may be doing some doubles. Means no rides for me as I may be having to drive her too and from work. Dang.
