Got the Sony laptop to working, SWMBO says it still sounds funny. Being more than selectively deaf, which is a common ailment amongst husbands, it sounds fine to me. My first successful computer repair.

This appears to be a great day to stay home, sip a bit of coffee, take a nap, read a good book and think great thoughts. I will probably make it thru the first three.

Everyone stay warm and dry.
What????? You don't wanna go ride today? Man you are just a spoil sport. I know I was looking forward to a 30 mile ride today (not even if I was paid to).

Does this mean the Bear is going to be out splashing thru the woods once again? Better take an umbrella with you and something dry to sit on.

Looks like we are going to have our one grandson with us for a few weeks which will be fun. Daughter in law has to go in for some surgery and this is a way we can reduce the work load around their house while she is recovering. This does mean I won't be doing any rides till a week or so after Thanksgiving.

LJ and RR. Thanks for the replies. Much appreciated. I took a few things apart and cleaned them up and blew the dust out of things. Now it works. We decided to wipe everything out that was on the disks as SWMBO had already bought a new laptop to take to work with her.

Dug out the recovery disks for the Sony and did that and have the applications disks nearly done. Can't figure out where we "filed" the disk for the wireless hookup. Getting to dang late so will look into that tomorrow.

Wife says I am now officially a computer nerd now. Some fat chance of that!
this is how I fix computers, a little wiggle and shake, then a blast of air, works half the time......and of course the "re-boot"

Why of course I would go for a ride today ( ) but my quad is still at the farm getting the holy cripe worked out of it.

I know you and hunting, the wet ain't going to slow you down any when the late season opens. Just be sure to take your fish net with you.

I'll have to bail on this ride. We have a bunch of things going on at work that looked like they were going to go fine, but had a last minute burp in the plan. Unfortunately, I told you guys that I was going to go, sorry .
