Guess I don't need anything different now after the scale

Does anybody have an idea of how much tow weight is actually transfered to the rear axle or how to calculate it?
There is a way to calculate this but AIR it is quite complicated and has to to with fulcrum point (rear axle) and lever lengths (distance from rear axle to centerline of hitch ball and rear axle to front of vehicle) as well as mass distribution. Easy way is put the rear axle of the MH on a scale without a trailer then stand on the ball and see how much is added to the rear axle for each pound of your weight. This will give you a ratio to work with. One thing for sure, the weight added to the rear axle will be more than what is put on the hitch by a considerable margin.

If you have, for example, six or seven hundred pounds of unused capacity on your rear axle (like many class C's do) you may well have 40 or 50 pounds of available tongue weight to use. This would limit you to four or five hundred pounds of trailer and load weight using the standard, and safe, 10% of gross trailer weight on the tongue.

I gots me a 40' enclosed trailer has a couple beds, a garage, and fridge
Thought you were gonna look at those Change of mind

I've got the 24' Interstate Sled trailer.
I love that style for quads over the regular enclosed. There are no wheel wells, thus making it easier to load.
Plus you can load/unload from front or back, which I have had to do on numerous occasions down at the dunes.
I've backed the trailer into the camp spot, and was able to load the quads up for the night by going through the front.

Give me a call and let me know how your looking is going

Here is my next toyhaulin setup

Or....maybe one of these

Planning on winning the lottery?
i wounder if you would have to have a CDL for one of those
Believe if it's over 26,000 you need the CDL. TP would know for sure.
